Donald Trump has won the 2024 United States Presidential Election and is set to begin his term in January 2025.
Donald Trump has been elected the 47th president of the United States, securing 277 electoral college votes so far. Kamala Harris trails with 224 votes and has no viable path to victory. Trump also leads the national popular vote with nearly 71 million votes to Harris’ 66 million at the time of writing, according to The Associated Press.

The victory marks a substantial comeback for Trump, who lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden and has since faced multiple legal cases and survived two assassination attempts.
In Trump’s live speech, he stated, “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason, and that reason was to save our country and to restore America to greatness, and now we are going to fulfill that mission together.”
